With a privileged location, this beach is known as Playa Peña Blanca, but it's not very popular despite being a very central area, between the popular surf spots of Punta Roca and Punta El Cocal. Many people also consider it Playa El Cocal.

Within walking distance, you have access to three shopping malls, several restaurants, and the largest supermarket in the area. It's a very interesting area for expats or digital nomads.

During the summer months or dry season, this beach is a long, sandy beach where you can walk for more than two kilometers. The waves are perfect for beginners who want to take up the sport.
During the rainy season, between April and October, the beach tends to become pebbly, especially at high tide, and the waves become a bit stronger for advanced surfers. The best thing is that, due to its width and low popularity, it's a place where visitors have plenty of privacy.

If you're traveling from the airport, the best way to get there is by taxi or private vehicle. Traveling by public bus is possible, but you'll have to walk and change bus routes. If your flight arrives after 5 p.m., using public buses is definitely not recommended.
